Hey Everyone!
So it was so great to be able to talk to you all this past christmas. And when I say all, I mean my family. But it was great. We got fed sooooo much food that day. We had one ball of fufu before the skype home and we got one ball after the skype home. I thought I was going to be sick. But it was soooo nice. Fufu on Christmas? Can it get any better???
So the Day after Christmas, all of the trainers and their sons/daughters had to go to the mission home for a kind of checkup. I guess other missions do this but this is the first time for our mission that it is done. It was pretty cool to meet up with all of the buddies that are in Cape Coast. But it was an awesome meeting and great to see all of the new missionaries. There is a couple missionaries from Cote di'voire and from Congo, in which they don't speak any English. So those missionaries have an extra hour of companionship study in which they are being taught English. It's pretty cool to see their progress. We have one missionary in our zone who is from Cote di'voire and he is very difficult to understand. Very difficult. But none the less, that day was an extremely long day because the mission home is four hours away on tro ride, so we went in the morning and got back late at night. Not easy kra. Saturday we had another Branch Christmas party which was pretty nice. We got to meet more members of the Group and Branch here in Tarkwa and create good relationships with them. We did a gift exchange in which I received Ghanaian Fabric. Dope. Probably gonna make a shirt or something. haha. Hope you all had a great Christmas and wish you all a new year from Ghana!
