December 8, 2014 2nd week in Tarkwa. We are in it for the long haul!

Hey Everyone!
So Christmas is coming Closer! Can y'all believe it??? CRAZY!!! So Tarkwa is an interesting experience. Definitely something that I can learn from. It is definitely different from Greenhill. In Greenhill, there was always something to do, someone to meet. But here in Tarkwa, everyday I sit down for planning and just wonder to myself, "Gosh. What are we going to do tomorrow?" In order for Tarkwa to grow and become a stake like President Stevenson wants, we need more members. And he wants it to spread, so pretty much, Elder Antwi and I are pretty far out from the chapel. If you look at our area, we can literally go forever. The other day, we walked to a members house and it took us about an hour to get there. All of it was our area to proselyte. So there is great potential, we just need a starting point and then to go.
We have one progressing investigator right now named Veronica. I haven't had an investigator like this before and it's very difficult to work with. She has come to church three months now. She would be baptized tonight if we said she could. But she lacks faith, testimony, and pretty much everything else. She doesn't believe that there is only one true church. So we decided to go over the Restoration with her again and she got angry at us because she was taught that before. We asked her if she got an answer if Joseph Smith was a prophet, and if the church was true. She said she hasn't. She then explained that a testimony of that will take time. We tried to explain to her that if she had faith, God would answer her now. We decided to have her pray in a lesson to see if the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints was true. She finally consented to it, and as she prayed, The Mormon Tabernacle Choir came on the radio. Now, we are in flippin Ghana! I've never heard MoTab on the Radio. But the one time we need an investigator to find an answer for herself if the church is true, and she finally prays and MoTab comes on. Weird. BUt she pops her head up at the end of the prayer and says she hasn't received an answer. So we have decided through companionship study to go another route. We are going to go over the Book of Mormon with her again. Hopefully that goes well. Well, Love you All. Hope you are doing well. Praying for you all.
Love
